Well, so much for trying to do regular updates to the website! Can't believe that so much time got past me! I had to add six months of photos to catch everyone up.
Chloe is now 4! Not exactly sure how that happen. :o) She is just the most amazing little girl and is so funny. Has lots of questions and opinions. She loves to talk about anything and everything. We have nicknamed her "Chloe Talkalot" and she just giggles and calls me "Mommy Shopalot"! She is loving preschool and even wrote her own birthday thank you notes. (For those who haven't got them yet they are coming - Mom's slowing the process!) She is in her second session of ballet and tap and she loves the class. She is ready to be a big sister and she is excited to take the big plane back to China to get Olivia. In early June we also celebrated our 3rd Family Day, it was special because she seems to understand why we were celebrating now.
Paul made it home safe and sound at the end of May. His time in Cuba was an experience that I think he is glad to have had but he is very happy to be home. Within days of returning he learned that he advanced to MA1 so exciting and something he had been working towards for years. Now he is very busy learning lots of his new duties! He is also spending time on his new hobby - scuba diving. He got certified while in Cuba and just loves it so much.
Well, I survived his eight month deployment and am very glad that he is home! May, June and July have been just a blur of activity. We were very excited about Paul's return but we also had Chloe's first dance recital and then my Mom arrived to celebrate Chloe's birthday. Now I am in the catch up phase of everything. We have been given the opportunity to move to a three bedroom house (across the street), so we will be very busy moving the next couple of weeks.
A few other things:
Grandma & Grandpa are doing well, we had to move them to a first floor apartment because that are both using walkers now.
We are still waiting for Olivia! Our documents have been in China for 10 months and the current wait is 21 months.
